What’s easier to come back from: straight forward/clean ACL tear or clean Achilles rupture?

Seems like Alim had a tough time with ACL last year given he wasn’t back in form, but now is.

At the same time, I remember Tracy Walker was never the same post Achilles.

Thoughts?

The Lions were 4th in sacks last year. I don't think that was such a problem. They can be better at containing the run. The secondary? Be glad we don't play against Dallas, the Rams, Seattle, Cincy, Denver or Philly...in the regular season anyway.

I think against the better QB's, this back end bunch is going to be under severe duress without Branch, Kirby and Robertson and Arnold. We are one or two backfield injuries from reaping disaster.

The "O" might have to be up to the task of scoring 30+ points a game. If Laporta stays healthy and can be the number 3 guy, then I won't worry so much about TeSlaa. Of course, the "O" line is 60% rebuilt from two years ago and also kind of a ? mark.

Agree there are some major question marks on the Lions with secondary and OLine. Will be interesting to see how it goes there.
