After the sudden loss in OTA of 5th-round WR Kendrick Law to an ACL, the Detroit Lions quickly added Kyre Duplessis as a UDFA (undrafted free agent). At 5’ 11”, 190lbs, he is on the slight side, but may compete as a returner like Law was expected to.

Below is the medical report for Kyre Duplessis. For a full breakdown of the 2026 rookie class, visit my Lions Rookies page.

Medical concern level ranges from 0 (no concern) to 10 (extreme).

(Ages in parentheses are at start of 2026 season and are factored into the concern level. Injury info and ages based on available public information and are unverified - subject to update. Games played data courtesy of sports-reference.com.)

Kyre Duplessis, WR (24) - Delaware

Medical Concern Level: 2/10

2025: 13/13 games
2024 (Coastal Carolina): 12/13 games
2023: 13/13 games
2022: 12/13 games
2021: 2 games
2020: 0 games (redshirt)

Duplessis has been very reliable throughout college, having missed only 2 games in the past 4 years. I was unable to find any reported injuries for him. His medical concern level is bumped up a bit because his age is higher than ideal compared to other rookies.

In college, he finished with 83 receptions for 1172 yards - the vast majority of which came in his final season.

For the initial medical report on Kendrick Law and the rest of the Day 3 picks…
