To be clear, I purchased all these jerseys myself at full price. This video was not sponsored by Fanatics or the Lions or anybody else, except my wallet. These jerseys are all “genuine”, directly from Fanatics.
After shooting the video, I analyzed the carbon fiber texture on the nameplate and numbers a bit more. There is a bit of raised texture on the nameplate letters, but it’s not as raised or as aggressively embossed as the front number. Interestingly, the back number texture is the same as the nameplate letters - both are not as raised as the front number.
The front number is clearly made of superior materials, and I really like how aggressively it is textured. I wish this better texture was used on the back of the jersey as well.
